Yia sas, youles! I think remodelfla is interpreting you correctly. Baseboards usually refer to the molding which runs along the bottom of walls where they meet the floor. What we call toekicks here in the US, the strip which runs along the base of the cabinets, does keep the area under the cabinets from accumulating dust and dirt. Depending on how much vertical space you would have between the floor and the bottom of your cabinets, without the toekicks, you could have difficulty getting underneath to vacuum or wash the floor underneath. I am including a photo from the finished kitchen blog, which show some traditional cabinets with feet, but I can't say how they're constructed. I am also including the link for that blog below. I have also seen very modern kitchens on legs with quite a bit of space below them, but I always think it's wasted storage space when I see those. I have not personally seen Medallion cabinets, so I have no opinion on them. I did find some past posts from people who have had Medallion cabinets. Seems like it's mixed reviews about different finishes wearing & tearing differently. Hi. My initial reaction to the photos is that you have an awful lot of wood, so even more wood in a baseboard might be overkill. Just me but I would use a painted baseboard, and since white might be out of the question (since door frames, etc. are wood and not white moulding), maybe painted to match your walls. I'm not a Pro, and this is a subjective choice, so, what do you like? Enjoy your remodel!

I’m very traditional in style. We are redoing our kitchen with white cabinets warm brown lvp, and a warm white/gold quartz. The whole house is painted repose grey and is decorated in a traditional manner. We will definitely be changing the window casings down the road (probably another 5 years but we are here to stay). Here’s a picture of the living room where you can see we actually built the columns and faux beam and used colonial trim around those, so definitely not opening a can of worms there. Some of the doors I’ve noticed now that I’m looking more actually have the smaller colonial casings. It isn’t very noticeable though because they aren’t next to our giant wall of windows which is what worries me the most.
