This is our 2nd home on the Chesapeake bay but we purchased from people that lived year round in home. We’ve tried to decorate in a coastal/nautical lighter palette in the house, but now is time to breakdown and tackle the kitchen and entryway and floors! We do like the trim/crown molding and while I am open to painting cabinets (if that is the overwhelming suggestion), I am currently thinking of just changing hardware and replacing/enlarging (maybe rotating) island with cooktop (new cabinetry in navy or ivory) and all new countertops. Also would like to include an area with wine fridge/mini bar - maybe in entry way corner to draw traffic while entertaining out of the immediate kitchen and make use of that wasted space. Also floors throughout - and appreciate input on one style for full 1st floor, or varied by living space?
