we are considering renovating our kitchen that was last renovated in 2004. we should replace the cabinets but they are in pretty good shape. we've thought about replacing the doors only for a more streamlined door. the cabinets all came from home depot and the cabinets or doors are no longer available. if we kept the cabinets, could we go lighter counter and backsplash. and get a little longevity from them. we may only stay here 6 or so years. is it better to change for resale value, some or all of it.
