I can see at least 2 main colors on the body of the house...a dark gray, and a red/rust/orange. no, I don't think it will be too much. can you trim it out w/the ice cube or is it just going to meld into the one color? The good thing is, if you don't like it, you can repaint it. (you'll prob have to do it, but it's not a big deal) or, have them spray the stucco. then have them half the garage in blue, and half in the ice cube. see what you like better

The foyer was another color in the picture. I had forgotten that. It was something like SW Napery I'm guessing. I didn't paint it. I've painted it SW Creamy since then. The point that I wanted to make with the colors was it all depends on the light. Both rooms were painted the same color. But, the rooms face different directions and have different lighting. For a while I was using a lot of Dover White for trim and cabinetry and Napery for the walls, but I moved into a new home where the previous owner had used some Creamy. I liked how it worked with my wood flooring and furnishings. I ended up using Creamy in two more houses, both walls and trim. I wanted a neutral as possible because I have warm furnishings. Only Alabaster has a lighter LRV than Creamy. Nothing in my home has any grey in it. But, I didn't want things to cast yellow. I found both Alabaster and Creamy to be very complimentary with my furnishings and the flooring the room. I ended up painting the exterior of my home Alabaster. In the bright light of day, the Creamy had too much yellow in it for my exterior when it was put side to side with the Alabaster. But, it was perfect inside. Alabaster would have worked, but the Creamy on the interior works really nicely.

You will also have much better results if you test your paint correctly. Create a large swatch- paint on poster board or water color paper (my preference). Leave an inch of white around the edge. When you paint on your wall you are only seeing the color in that one spot. You are always seeing the color in comparison to the wall color that you will be covering and you are going to compare the different colors that you paint next to each other. We see color in conjunction with the other colors around a color - our minds automatically compare the colors (the reason white can look yellow or purple in one setting and perfectly neutral in another). Look at one color at a time. Look at the colors at different times of the day, in different rooms and in different locations in each room.
