could you be a bit more specific of where wonderland is located .. bugs vary by location.. big city name ...

hahahaha i’m cracking up. wonderland is also known as eastern virginia. it is a picture of my hand in a mirror... it was the only way i could get a picture of one i didn’t squish right away. they haven’t been found near plants. the antennae has given me issues with identifying it. but the small white/yellowish horizontal stripe on its abdomen seems to be a good place to start. i’ve been looking at pictures! the only other thing that i could consider relevant is that it’s been rainy here for the last two weeks so not sure if he and his friends are looking for a dry spot

You'd have to get a closer shot of it. Could be a borer of some kind.

i’ll try to get a closer shot the next time i see one. i’ve seen a total of three. they did not hitch a ride on a plant (as far as i know) the only plant that is new to my collection since i brought all plants inside in the fall is in another part of the house to where i’ve found these guys. two in an upstairs bathroom and one in the downstairs bathroom. each bathroom has one plant, both of which have been inside since october!

Try posting this photo or a closer shot on the insect forum. I have had good luck with bug IDs there.
