Do you want that sink placement? I have it in my guest bath - it was there when I bought the house. I can’t stand it. It does create a nice large surface in the middle but in my opinion it’s not worth it. It makes mirrors and lighting very difficult and constrains the options tremendously. Lighting has to be from overhead, because there’s not enough room on the sides to use sconces on both sides of the sink. Relying solely on overhead lighting is really not best in a bath - it makes makeup application challenging bc it creates shadows on the face, and makes closeup work (such as tweezing brows) not well lit either. For a mirror, there’s no logical choice except a full wall mirror that stretches the length of the vanity. Individual mirrors don’t work well bc in order to center them over the sinks they would have to be super narrow. Notice that in the second inspiration pic they have used hanging lights, but they are not properly placed - the outer ones are closer to the sinks than the inner ones.

I apologize if you love the design and I’m shooting it down. It’s just a really challenging design in real life.

Also notice that when standing at the sink, the user ends up uncomfortably close to the wall. In my bath, the towel rack is on the wall next to the left hand sink, and when you use that sink, your left arm or hand sometimes bangs into the rack. Not fun.

Give me a minute and I’ll probably remember other reasons I don’t recommend it 😂. I’m sorry to sound so awful.

Thank you for the input! Yes, the vanity is already installed. It is for my six and eat-year-old boys and I put the drawers in the middle because God knows they don’t need to be any closer together. 😂 I was thinking a hanging pendant in the middle might break it up visually, but I would like to have everything as clean as possible. What do you think about one big mirror and a hanging pendant directly over each sink?

I also have two cans in that bathroom. A cleaner possibility might just be adding cans over the vanity.

We have a similar configuration and were told to use wall sconces vs overhead lighting to eliminate shadows. We found narrow sconces.

Hahaha well it definitely will keep two boys farther apart and that’s probably worth it 😂. In that case I would do a full mirror like your first inspiration photo. You might find separate mirrors somewhere that would work, but you’ll spend a lot of time looking, and I’m guessing you probably have plenty of other things you’re dealing with. If you can find sconces that will work, and your builder is willing to install them on the mirror, that is a great look IMO. But again you could spend a lot of time looking for the right thing. I think one pendant over each sink could look good, but it depends on how much it would bug you (if at all) that they would be unusually close to the walls.

If it were me I think I’d go full mirror with recessed lights. Kinda basic, but there’s other ways to introduce some interest such as a fun piece of art.
