Comments (2)thanks mrslovett...desiretoinspire is great. have been downloading pics from it for the last hour and a half (oops)... since i posted a few weeks ago we've narrowed down choices a bit. we're going w/ polished white shimmery marble tiles (i think they're called crystal white): 5/8" square on the floor and probably 12" on tub wall (to avoid grout lines, though the little tiles seem more shimmery somehow). PAint will be some ice cream parlor pink or aqua blue in all likelihood. will take your advice about mirrors, furniture and hand shower. any other ideas or inspiration pics always welcome....See MorePink & Gray paint colors for teen girls room
Comments (4)Try this link for some lovely inspiration photos. They don't name the paint colors, but it would be a good starting point to take to the paint store and try to match them. Martha Stewart also has some inspirational photos, although she also doesn't name paint colors... http://www.marthastewart.com/photogallery/pink-rooms And one other source...House Beautiful just listed their top pink paint colors. I'd start with the pink because that's the color that is so hard to get right. Once you've chosen the perfect pink, the coordinating gray will be so much easier. http://www.housebeautiful.com/decorating/colors/color-the-best-pink Have you tried checking out companies that specialize in bedding for children and teens? You could find some lovely bedding and work backwards from there. Here is a link that might be useful: pink and gray...See Moremacadamia paint in little girl’s room?
Comments (4)I had Macadamia in my great room and hallways in a previous home. I think it's a terrific color but would never put it in a little girl's room. Not at all a color that would go with pink or purple. What about a pale green?...See MoreWhat color paint for two girls rooms?
Comments (27)What an interesting layout! While I prefer J&J's to have separate private spaces, I'm sure it works for your girls, and I really like the shared study space! Very cool! Your girls are lucky :) Also white truffle has a bit of a dusty/lavender undertone to it, not peachy/coral. If you wanted to lean more orange in your pink you may want a different color...my point in showing you the white truffle was to compare how it looks on the chip (kind of awful IMO - I would never have chosen it if the designer hadn't recommended it) to what it actually looks like on the wall (really pretty, light dusty rose). But, of course, I think the color is beautiful so absolutely go for it if you like it!...See Morealissong
