My mistake raven. I went back into my router settings and found this. Looks like I do have a Mac address. Will doing this help with the PDN? I'm a bit confused....big surprise? ⺠MAC Address MAC is an acronym for Media Access Controller. All network components including cards, adapters, and routers, have a unique "serial number" called a MAC address. Your ISP may record the MAC address of your computer's adapter and only let that particular computer connect to the Internet service. When you install the router, the Router's own MAC address will be "seen" by the ISP and may cause the connection not to work. Belkin has provided the ability to clone (copy) the MAC address of the computer into the router. This MAC address, in turn, will be seen by the ISP's system as the original MAC address and will allow the connection to work. If you are not sure if your ISP needs to see the original MAC address, simply clone the MAC address of the computer that was originally connected to the modem. Cloning the address will not cause any problems with your network. To Clone your MAC address, make sure that you are using the computer which was ORIGINALLY CONNECTED to your modem before the Router was installed. Click the "Clone MAC address" button. Click "Apply Changes". Your MAC address is now cloned to the router. My netbook and other computer connects just fine with out the cloning. I don't know much about this router stuff..*Ã*

Thanks, I'm going to follow dancinggirl's suggestion. I looked around and did manage to find an old post on this subject Everyone likes the pin method. I will cut & fold double & just run a hem. I had some of what I call 'upholstery' pins which are the corkscrew type and I ordered another pkg. It sounds very do-able that way and able to handle by myself. As for the other suggestion. I really did not want to add elastic. I didn't want to make a bulky casing which would add length to the bedskirt because it goes around the box spring on the outside, and I've never had good luck with sewing elastic directly to fabric without a casing. Especially because this will probably be a very skimpy fabric on the platform when it arrives. I thank you both for your replies. Donna

Renee - Not easily, because the part below the waistband doesn't have any room to expand either. If you did gussets with jeans material it would show less - if you do this, be sure to back up the gusset by lining the entire waistband with something. Replacing the entire waistband with a strip of heavy duty elastic might work.

Do you have elastic on hand? It would be hard to justify charging them for your trip to the store to pick up elastic, but if you're going to be doing this regularly, trips to the store have to be factored into your price somehow. (Or the cost to buy supplies and have them shipped to you has to be factored in). I've worked in dry cleaners and alteration shops and I can tell you they price services to average out to about $45 per hour in my part of the world. It isn't cheating to call the dry cleaner pretending to be a customer and ask. It's certainly okay to charge a rush fee, too. In the store where I work right now, hemming trousers is $19. It's $15 at our competitor. They want elastic, more. They don't like the price, [shrug] you haven't reached a meeting of the minds, then. And do you have a measurement for the elastic where it's going to be on his leg, or is that *another* meeting with your customer which = time added to the project? My conscience would be clear in charging $20 a pair. If they didn't want to pay that, I wouldn't feel bad. They have options. In the big city near me, there is an hour exchange. Any person who wishes to invest his or her own time in the time bank can spend their accrued hours on alterations. Of course to spend the hours, one has to accrue the hours by *providing service to others free of charge.* I have suggested this to people who looked disappointed at the price of services my employers offered. Occasionally, someone looks kind of enthused about the idea of that kind of community exchange.
