Could you please post pictures of your Adura? We are currently planning to order about 1000 square feet of it (the LVT planks) in a couple of weeks. It would be very helpful to see pictures of what you do not like about it. The reviews are SO variable here--some people like it and some people hate it. Based on my research and taking home multiple samples, it SEEMS to be the best choice for us. Our dealer has a plank he has let people take home and "abuse"--with Goof-Off, gun black (?), permanent marker, cigarette "burns" etc. Nothing affected it except paint stripper. I took a key and scratched it REALLY hard and there were some extremely MINOR scratches that were only visible in certain light and looking at it right up close. I also tried to scratch it with the dogs' nails and the edge of a quarter. That is what really sold me on this brand--how little that plank reacted to all the things people were trying to do to it (it was a leftover plank from part of that showroom floor that had Adura planks installed on it). Oh, and the showroom floor looked great as well. [I am not questioning your experience, but would be very interested to see photos due to our plan to spend a lot of money on this stuff. Thanks.)

Magg5412 that's lovely! wow. It's been 3 years already since I posted my question and finally went with wood laminate that was less expensive than the luxury vinyl I wanted. We went with Pioneer laminate from Flooring Liquidators (sweetwater) my husband installed himself starting the day we got keys. The 18" tile floor the builder put in kitchen & baths looked so nice that my DH just wouldn't agree to ripping it up for my 'vision' of uninterrupted wood floors. (I just paid a service to steam clean all my ceramic tile where grout got too dirty for me to get it really clean--well worth it!) im in the middle of repainting inside of my house so no good pix. but the 3 years of wear on the laminate only shows where water got spilled near a plant and no one saw. Sweep. Mop. Done.

Absolutely stay away from Manning Restorations Waterproof laminate. Our Manning Restorations Waterproof laminate in the colour "Anthology" has continued to extensively deteriorate in our bathroom after 3 years of installation. It is swelling everywhere and it is chipped in about 13 places, chipping even in places where it wasn't swollen. The beveled edges are the weak points for both water seeping into the core of the planks, as well as the laminate literally chipping off of the planks. As beautiful as this flooring is, it is literally garbage! We have 15 year old laminate flooring in the rest of our home and even though that is swollen in a few places, there is almost no chipping, and in comparison to the bathroom Mannington laminate, it has swollen far less in 15 years than the Mannington has swollen in 3 years. That being said, the Mannington is in installed in our bathroom, but it is a somewhat fair comparison because our older laminate throughout our home is also installed in our kitchen and front hallway, where there is tremendous water infiltration. I honestly cannot believe how poorly these Mannington Restoration "Waterproof" floors are made. The top portion of the laminate chips off at the edges and corners, and then the lower core of MDF is exposed, and then any tiny bit of water in that area makes it swell and deteriorate further. DO NOT take the chance and install this in your home! We are so happy that we utilized our bathroom as the test space for these floors. Otherwise, we would be out $7,000 or more and having to replace them throughout our home. So disgusted and disappointed. They should be sued over and over again for stating a product is "waterproof" when it absolutely isn't. Very deceptive company. Very disappointed.

The Elkay sink is gorgeous- slightly sparkly and a great color. There are a couple of small scratches (don't let anyone tell you they don't scratch!) but they are probably only noticeable by me or with a very close inspection. It cleans really well with dish soap and a non-scratch blue Scotch Brite pad. Water does pool a little bit near the front part of the drain.
