Just signed off on final floor stain color...
Comments (12)Who is doing your floors? I read before that you have 4 " boards. We want site finished 5" planks, and we're having a heck of a time finding someone to do it. I see it all the time on houzz, but apparently it's not common around here. We have an Amish gentleman who will do prefinished 5" planks, but I'd really rather have site-finished smooth floors. DH and I are so frustrated by this flooring!!! I can't wait to see your color. I love nini's color. I've been keeping her stain formula in mind. We really thought we wanted dark dark dark wood floors, but everyone we talk to tells us how hard they are to keep clean. Plus, with bright white cabinets and very neutral tan walls, I think we need a little warmth from the floors. You're house is looking amazing!! How exciting!! :-)...See MoreProvenza luxury vinyl jet set or finally mine?
Comments (84)I really appreciate all the pictures! I am currently trying to decide between these 2 options also! My biggest concern with jet set is-can it look too dark? I will be installing these floors in my basement with very dark grey cabinets and white trim. The samples of jet set are perfect, but pictures here seem a little darker. Any advice from those of you with jet set? My worry with finally mine, sometimes appears too light. How about those of you with finally mine? Any suggestions? It is a basement remodel with a kitchen addition. Going with dark greys, brick backsplash and cement counters. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!!...See MoreProvenza Flooring - First Crush, Finally Mine, At Ease?
Comments (8)I'm staring at my sample boards of At Ease and Finally Mine right now, trying to decide! I will give you my impressions to see if it helps you at all. There are some pictures of Finally Mine floating around on Instagram but I am having a more difficult time finding At Ease. I have true story here too but think it's darker than I am looking for. At Ease seems to be warmer, with more prominent veining and knotholes. it may be a touch lighter. Not orange, but warm. The painted bevel I would describe as tan. Finally Mine has more gray. It's still got warm undertones, but appears more dusky. The knotholes are less pronounced. Its painted bevel reads as darker than the one on At Ease. More of a gray-beige. I'm really torn between the two. I am having painted cabinets so I have some flexibility. I really think we all spend time agonizing over these colors but they are all pretty. I'll send you some pictures of my big samples tomorrow. Please keep me posted on what you decide. If anyone has more pictures of these colors, I would love to see them!...See MoreAffordable LVP alternative to Provenza finally mine or first crush
