can someone help my jade plant?

The Jade has been looking sick for two years...always somewhat droopy and lots of brown scars even with new growth? I have tried water it differently, repotting it with cacti mix etc. Also is it normal for them to have weird shaped leaves? I don’t think it is infested with mealybugs. Help! Thanks!

Two years, you have tried changing watering, container media. Perhaps, it is the plant’s way of letting you know, it does not want to live with you.

I have a very robust jade plant, the only thing I consistently do is ignore it. Don't overwater it. It's sitting on south facing sunny window, I feed it my left over tea water(which has sugar and tea leaves in it). Pluck a leaf and leave it so the end dries a little, plug it back into the soil. It will grow from a leaf.

located in Florida on the west coast, it is an outside plant and suits in the shade mostly. It gets watered weekly and uses miracle grow time released fertilizer. It was doing good last year until the winter

Hello everyone, my Jade Plant hasn’t been doing well! Over the summer it started to shrivel up. Here is the info: The green leafed picture is from August when someone told me I should water it less. I started watering it less, but still once a week because it was so hot and dry. Now I haven’t watered it since mid to late November. My mom told me it likes the shade and I just put it in a shady corner about two weeks ago. Now it looks like the reddish picture. -What can I do? Water it more? Stop watering it? Repot it? Take it inside? Does it like shade? also I just repotted it maybe a year ago now

Cacti potting mix is often not as good as advertised, and it may be better to mix it with lots of sifted perlite or pumice. That is quite simple, and improves drainage.

Droopy leaves could be result of poor light or overwatering, or both.

Brownish spots could be oedema/edema, and that is very often result of high humidity or improper watering.

It is near a south facing window so light is probably good. I am watering it every few weeks right now but maybe they just have the scars of previous overwatering...

It does feel it is just not meant to be after two years...but it is probably not going to die any time soon so I will just keep trying I guess

Being 'near south facing window' is nearly not enough light. It may be not enough even if plant is on the windowsill of S facing window - depending if the window is obstructed by trees or shrubs or other buildings, and your general location.

Jades are one of the easiest plats to grow - I am saying that from personal experience. BUT, they should be potted in well draining potting mix, in a pot with drainage hole(s), and watered when the mix is dried up. If you do that together with making sure plant gets good light, jade will thrive.

Period between watering depends on temps plant is in, and certainly on a mix you use. If it retains water, that creates problems. I already suggested how to improve the mix. I also see that your plant is double-potted. It could be - lots of ppl use cachepots. But it needs to be taken out of decorative pot to water, let the excess water drain, and only then put back.

Plants in the photo were outdoors, in sun most of the day, since spring to fall. Photo is taken in beg. of December just after brought indoors. They are right on the windowsill of unobstructed south-west window, and they will also get light from LED lights.
