Uptown Gal, there used to be a Hutterite colony near us that raised Belted Galloways and whenever we drove by, the kids would always laugh and call them Oreo cows! That’s what we’ve called them ever since.

Floral I understand why you asked. I thought the same thing. Did they just look the same or were they a different breed than the Galloway cows I had known? I had never heard of them being called Oreo cows. Love it though! Belties is cute too.
