Real Hardwood Wall Paneling

Jennifer Lynn

We recently bought a 70s custom home that has real hardwood wall paneling - about 3/4” thick. It’s all over the house - family room, kitchen, sunroom, hallway, etc. My initial thought was to paint some of it and then take some off and drywall, but every time I test paint colors I feel guilty about it. It’s in great shape, but I just don’t know what else I’d use it for if I pulled it all off and drywalled. Wanted to see if anyone has any ideas? Thanks!
