Looking for help identifying what's going on with my philodendrons :(

I bought these two philos (pastazanum and mamei) from Etsy in December. Both were domestic and not imported. I'm super careful not to overwater but I have no idea what the issue could be with these leaves. Both have new leaves coming in so I'm hesitant to repot right now. Any help would be much appreciated!!

my first thought is to wonder.. since youve only had it a month.. what happened to it before you got them??? .. we will never have that answer ... unless you have a seller that you can ask ... meaning other than bigbox ...

then i wonder how cold it was in december.. when you carried it out of the store to your car etc ... was there a cold event.. minor.. in that we are just seeing the result now ...

if it were me.l. i would water properly ... letting it near dry before watering again .. and see what the new growth looks like ... and if it comes out fine.. there is nothing currently to do ...

its severely stressed.. its not hungry... fert is not a response ...

and repotting will just stress it more ... so that is for spring if you wish ..

water properly.. and ignore it for another month and lets see what happens... report back plz ...

and.. btw.. even a damaged leaf can convert light into energy .. so no matter how ugly they get.. as long as there is some green leave them there.. and when they are all yellow.. lop them off ...

ps: with that ceiling.. im wonder if this is a sun room.. and how cold it gets in there at night in winter??? ... it might not be too cold for your other plants ... but we dont know if this one came from a cozy greenhouse and the temps are a bit out of its comfort zone.. when you brought it home ...

these plants like humidity! make sure you are providing them with adequate amounts.

the leaves kind of look like they are suffering from dry air.

Perhaps Lactuca canadensis? [Mind you, I won't swear it isn't some other species entirely!]

yep, it is P. selloum (P.bipinnatifidum). it needs to be staked. those thick roots are aerial that anchor the plant , so they often grow down into soil, but not always. do not cut them off. it needs more then 1 cup a week for sure: it likes to be moist, do not let it dry up more then 1/3 of pot height. it also needs to be fertilized. pot size it totally fine, no need to put it in a larger pot. it looks leggy: it likes some partial dappled sun indoors for half a day to do well. eastern or western window is best.

@Patricia Colwell I'm the worst at explaining my dilemmas here! Usually people use 2 of these loungers to create an L shape (see pic), but I don't have enough space to do so. I'm trying to create a smaller L shaped version of this by placing an ottoman in front of the lounger on one side of it.

Sharon, the new leaf is too much toward red to be Prince of Orange. It is correct for McColley's Finale, a newer hybrid here in USA. It is a semi self-header so that fits, it was the last Philo Jim McColley hybridized before he passed. I envey you living in India, never been there but I'm fascinated by the country and people.
