Dishonest sellers are on Amazon now
Comments (18)It seems Amazon is aware of the bogus listings (not just plants but other products as well) and 3rd party sellers selling counterfeit items. There have been many complaints posted on their forums about these sellers getting away with criminal activity. But it seems of no use to complain to Amazon about this. The good news is, Amazon is good about returns and you can get your money back over fake items. I just hope that a newbie plumeria enthusiast will research the variety before purchasing. Reporting these bogus listings on Amazon or EBay does not seem to work. These corporations do not seem to care to be proactive about removing these listings that are blatantly bogus to us because they constantly reappear. I suggest we create a thread and have it "stickied" with FAQs and inform newbies that these blue and black plumerias do not exist and there are many scammers out to make a quick buck all over the internet....See Morebuying from amazon?
Comments (4)Well, the most important thing here is to "Do your Homework" and check out "evVive". Check out fully their info and reviews on Amazon, http://www.amazon.com/gp/aag/details/ref=aag_m_ss?ie=UTF8&asin=&isAmazonFulfilled=&isCBA=&marketplaceID=ATVPDKIKX0DER&seller=A1281S4A9P7H8C# Check out their Seller Ratings Here: http://www.resellerratings.com/store/evVive Check out their "BBB Rating here: http://www.bbb.org/new-jersey/Business-Reviews/appliances-major-dealers/bonhomie- productions-llc-in-newark-nj-90072723/ (Be sure to click "The other Web address link" on the BBB site)!!! Myself , I would pay a few extra dollars and buy from a local merchant~~~~that way if you do have a problem, you are most likely going to have an "easier path" to settle any post sales problems with a local store. Do be sure to check out a "local store", in the same manner, that I recommended for Amazon. Amazon can be great, depending on the seller. I wanted a special Pioneer DVD player for my 59 Dodge, and it was a discontinued model. A buyer on Amazon had the Pioneer. The seller "checked out", (Using the criteria) I'm suggesting that you do. Before I ordered it, I sent an email (*thru Amazon) to the seller. He responded immediately, and answered my question, so I ordered it. I Received the package, promptly in great shape and the DVD player works great!!!! Gary...See MoreBuying hoyas? Read this. A seller's point of view :)
Comments (5)Thanks!I It has a faint floral scent...nothing major, and the flowers last around 4 days. this is the one I received from you last spring. It developed a yellow spot fungus on the leaves and stunted the growth tip which led to die back of the leafless vine. That may have triggered the peduncle, but the buds blaster the first time. I was spraying it with Captan to control the infection which seemed to stop it. It budded up again a few months later and 4 flowers made it! Now it is starting 2 more growth tips! I thought is was dying there for a while!...See MoreToo good to be true? Amazon product issue...
Comments (11)Legomom, we exchanged several emails this morning. They are sending dd a new flat iron. I updated my review to show the positive response which I had planned to do if they did make an effort to resolve it. I did not give the product 5 stars since it did actually break, but I gave the seller 5 stars and positive feedback for their handling of the sale and the follow up. I totally agree that it's important to recognize when companies treat their customers well. I think what I appreciated is that they actually read the reviews and respond to them. I assumed since it was past my return date, and since I had no photo or proof that the item broke since dh threw it away, I didn't have much recourse to ask for a return. And honestly, it wasn't expensive so I didn't think much of it. I hadn't even set out to review it - I had gone back to Amazon to look for a replacement and that's when I decided to give the item a review. And I specifically noted that my dd really liked the flat iron, but that I was disappointed it broke so easily and quickly. So I hadn't really bad mouthed them, but gave an honest review....See Moresocks
