I do write feedback on things other than books. Not always, but if something is especially good or especially bad, I do.

Yes, I usually do, because I read several of the reviews on something I may be considering. I haven't had any negative things to say about anything yet, but I do try to be, as honest as I can.

I sure do, I depend on real user reviews so I do it in return. Not on everything but especially if the item has few reviews, I also will add pictures with comments if I think it would help.

I used to do reviews on epinions too but not much these days.

I do, Susan, I don't usually review books, I just don't have that kind of time, but I almost always review products. I too rely on those reviews and think that it is only fair, if I take I need to give!

You're all inspiring me to do this on a more regular basis. I, too, rely on reviews. I always say people are more likely to post a review if they're unhappy with a product--and now I see I've been doing the same thing! But no more . . .

I've reviewed a few books on Amazon... usually just books that I really liked or that I hated.

I've reviewed some books on Amazon and lots of apps for my ipod and ipad.

I haven't reviewed any books but I have written reviews on appliances. I've also sent my opinions to both Orvis and LLBean.

Oh, yes, and I've done a couple for allrecipes.com, too. I usually send positive ones, but had to blast Lands End a couple of years ago. I do send reviews to Amazon quite often, as they do ask for them.

Yes, I do that a lot. I was going to buy a toaster but it got terrible reviews so I bought another that had great reviews and it is wonderful

Yes I buy most of my purchases through Amazon and I always leave a review. I rely on them for making the decision on whether or not to purchase the item. I have never gone to see them actually there but I'm sure others have looked at them.

I rely heavily on those reviews, so I post a bunch myself.

I've written 430 reviews, and for a time, I was a "Top 100" reviewer. That's no longer the case. I've been a slacker lately. :)

While I read and are influenced by the reviews, I rarely write them.

In this particular case, the 3.5 stars would put me off. This is one of my favorite authors, too.

I too usually post product reviews and try to give the 'pros' as well as any cons. I also try to include info that is not covered in the product description, and even one time contacted Amazon to update their description to include actual measurements. I reluctantly ordered an item, not really knowing if it would be right for my application.
