what color or colors should I paint my house?

Please help need me decide what color(s) to paint my house. We’re adding white vinyl windows (don’t say not to, it’s done). So assume they’re in too. Thanks for any help!

What style are the new windows? The palcement of the windows you have is very odd so I need to know what the plan is.

Im trying to think of a way to say that "beachy" is a bit incongruous in a desert location. Seriously, how "beachy" color schemes - that whole blue-white-gray thing -c ame about was from taking inspiration from the coastal landscape, how the earth and sky looks from that part of the world. Similarly desert has its own esthetic sensibility - inspiration taken from the landscape. We have been trying to find a new exterior paint color ourselves which is currently similar to yours but we are in the Portland area so lots of dark green trees in the landscape as foliage compared to where you live. I thought we wanted something more green but after driving around and looking at hundreds of homes in this area we concluded that a lot of the green houses around here look sort of unnatural because they are clashing with the endlessly green Pacific Northwest landscape and when they are close to the same color as the background foliage but slightly different it looks off somehow. I think green is one of the hardest colors to get right on a house. The sage greens with lots of grey seem to look the best around here with our foliage and oven overcast light. So we are now going with a navy gray (Newburyport Blue) which complements our surrounding trees better and are now trying to find the perfect creamy white trim (see my other post). Of your choices I like the Iron Mountain with the crisp white trim. A lot of homes in our area are going with darker neutral colors of gray and charcoal for the body with white trim and it looks very crip and modern compared to the endless combinations of gray/beige/griege with only slightly lighter gray/beige/griege trim that these houses were all painted in the early 2000s.

Maybe a navy? For paint. And then paint or replace both the garage and front door to a stained brown. Remove the storm door if you can

Some other suggestions if you like, you can skip otherwise:
Maybe new lighting , definitely landscape. Possibly enlarge the garage and maybe brick up the walkway. I’m sure you considered some of these ideas... cute house. Has potential. Looking forward to watch it change.

Are you painting that bit of brick on the front? If not, you should pick a color that blends with the brick.

Paint the frame of your storm door to match the front door.

I assume those are samples of gray painted on the left side? Kind of blah. IMO of course.

I agree, pick a color from your brick. Make sure that color also goes with your roof. I am not fond of the two tone on the garage side, and would paint it all one color. White vinyl windows should look good on there. Keep them in mind when you choose the color from the brick. Leave the storm door. It protects your interior door. Its a cute house. Could use some landscaping though.

Hi, You might consider driving around your town and look at other house both older and newer and if you see something you like take a picture. It's hard to imagine what a color will look like on your home but if you see it on another you get a better idea. Just don't copy your next door neighbors home.
