My favorite from above is Iron Mountain, but I would do the garage trim in the dark color too vs the white to minimize attention on the garage doors. In your mockup, the color looks nice with your stone. Is the stone on the house the same as in your yard?

Another option is to go monochromatic with the trim. Here's a good article that compares different dark colors.

Thanks so much for your input. I agree I think bark trim around the garage would look better. I’m a little hesitant to do a full monochromatic look with the white windows and patio doors.

We have been trying to find a new exterior paint color ourselves which is currently similar to yours but we are in the Portland area so lots of dark green trees in the landscape as foliage compared to where you live.

I thought we wanted something more green but after driving around and looking at hundreds of homes in this area we concluded that a lot of the green houses around here look sort of unnatural because they are clashing with the endlessly green Pacific Northwest landscape and when they are close to the same color as the background foliage but slightly different it looks off somehow. I think green is one of the hardest colors to get right on a house. The sage greens with lots of grey seem to look the best around here with our foliage and oven overcast light.

So we are now going with a navy gray (Newburyport Blue) which complements our surrounding trees better and are now trying to find the perfect creamy white trim (see my other post).

Of your choices I like the Iron Mountain with the crisp white trim. A lot of homes in our area are going with darker neutral colors of gray and charcoal for the body with white trim and it looks very crip and modern compared to the endless combinations of gray/beige/griege with only slightly lighter gray/beige/griege trim that these houses were all painted in the early 2000s.

My vote is also Iron Mountain.

My vote would be the Iron Mountain too, and I would paint the garage doors the same color, not black, nor white.

Are the railings paintable? I think the white stands out too much against the dark siding, so you need to consider that.

The railing are paintable… we were consider painting the black. It was too hard to select in the paint viewer app I was using.

In your first picture, I didn't notice that the garage doors were darker (whoops, even though now I see that you said it!). Seeing them side-by-side now, I think I like them being darker. It helps the house not feel top-heavy. I'm not sure what the right answer is on the railings. The white ones on the stairway make it obvious where the front door is. Is your door wood? An option would be to paint all railings dark and then paint your door a bright color so it stands out.
