Thank you all for the input. I can't really tell the difference between the iPad Air and the iPad Air 2 but I want 128GB and it's only available on the Air2. Marlene the global positioning causes the iPad to right itself. You can lock it so it doesn't turn by going into settings. Go to general on the left side and put a check behind lock rotation. This will enable you to use the slider switch on the edge of the right side to lock it so it doesn't do that. You can also turn the cellular data off in settings. Click on the left side where it says cellular. Then the top right will say cellular and if it's enabled the slide switch is green. If you slide the switch to the left it will turn off the cellular. You will still be able to use wifi but the cellular data (the data that you pay for) will be turned off. If you want to turn it back on just slide the switch to the right. Marlene, don't feel challenged as there is a definite learning curve. The fact that you have one is great. If you bought it from the Apple Store they have a great tech staff and I think they have classes. Another thing you can do if you can't figure something out is to go to google and type you question in i.e. what do I do if my iPad freezes? You will usually find a step by step process that will help you. I discovered this as I had an text that had a Christmas surprise that I didn't want anyone to see so I googled how do I delete a text message on my iPhone. I followed the directions and voila the text was gone!

One if those quilted down parkas, a Vitamix, the new Laura Ingalls Wilder book Pioneer Girl, and--this is a new addition--a new dishwasher. The old one works just fine, but some tines are broken and the racks are rusting and transferring to some dishes; new racks cost almost what a new dishwasher does. Then yesterday one of the door springs gave out; it's repairable, but it's in a corner so we'd have to slide it all the way out to get to that side, which means (probably) disconnecting it completely, and DH wants to do it ourselves, and we are not extraordinary handy, and I don't have time for that rigmarole. With any luck the motherboard will blow out the day AFTER Christmas so I HAVE to get a new one :) DEEEE! MENU PLANNING! Sorry for shouting, wanted you to see this: I subscribed to a menu planning service for 7 years, and have been cycling through them for the last several years. It's fabulous! Every week i have a list of 6 dinner menus, recipe for the entree, suggested sides, and a complete ingredient/shopping list. Changed my life, and my family's :) I subscribed to Saving Dinner's Menu Mailer, but there are others.

I'm happy for all of you. But fixing whatever was messing you up, seems to have broken my ability to upload photos from my computer (Windows 7). I haven't been able post a photo since August 26! Cleaning out the cache made no difference. I click on the post photo button and go to the folder with the picture. But when I click on the photo....nothing. If I copy and paste it into the post, it shows up on the pre-submit. However, the post won't go through because then it claims I have too many characters. Frustrating!

The outgoing port for my desktop Outlook worked when I changed it from ”25” to ”587”. I noted the difference when comparing the account info on my IPad with the PC. Not sure why there was a difference because both accounts have been working well and I don’t fiddle around with settings if things are working. Re: LG mail accounts, Both Blue Mail and Google Mail stop working after install, when attempting to set up a new account. Tried Outlook on the phone and it will install and receive but not send mail. I’m working on this. Stay tuned.
