Darker Shade than Grant Beige
Comments (4)If you go on the BM site and enter that color, it gives you potential color combos....for grant beige:1553 and 525 or AF 180 Or shades such as HC 94 and 95 and 2148-10. I would start there, with their color matcher, with those shades, and see if there is anything you like, if not, it's a good leap off point for the type of shades and tones you should start with....See MoreI need a shade or two darker than SW Dover White
Comments (5)I'd go with mixing Dover White at 125%, it that is possible. Fractions of pastel formulas are sometimes not exact. You can also compare the colorant formulas for the Dover White, what it would be at 125% (give or take a little) and the Aged White to make sure they are the same tones (Annie may know -- I don't). Have you seen subtle striping done with the same color in different sheens (paint everything flat and create stripes with a higher gloss finish in the same color)? Or putting a gloss coat over to create stripes -- I saw a wall done with a shellac or clear coat, but I wondered what it would be like to have to paint over that down the road....See MoreShade darker than revere pewter
Comments (3)Thanks! Is there anything from SW or BM that is similar?...See MoreNeed a color a shade darker than SW Natural Linen
Comments (11)Maybe this will help get a more helpful answer to my question. 😉 Here is a Samplize and a painted sample board of SW Natural Linen against my cabinets. Looks good in my opinion!!! However, based on what happened to the current wall color (SW Neutral Ground), and the painted section (SW Natural Linen) below, I know that the paint will go on lighter and grayer on the actual wall. There is not enough contrast with the cabinets for me. There is contrast with the color on the board, but not when the color is painted on the walls. Above the sample board is the wall paint SW Neutral Ground. Below the sample board is a painted swatch of SW Natural Linen. I want the color with a tad bit more gold that actually looks like the sample board. Here are sample boards against the current color of SW Neutral Ground. See how the samples look a bit more beige than the gray color it took on the wall? Any more color suggestions?...See MoreElla D
