I was going to post the answers at 10pm EST but I wasn't sure what time zones everyone is in.

#6 reminds me of the old joke about the guy who is sleeping in bed with his wife when the phone rings. He answers, says, "I have no idea" and hangs up. A few minutes later, it rings again, and, angrier, he says, "How the heck should I know, I'm not a weather man!" It happens a third time and he hangs up.

His wife asks what's going on?

Her husband replies. "Some nut keeps calling about the weather. He keeps asking me if the coast is clear."

Sometimes I get fixated on a wrong solution and it takes me longer to get it right. Like #1, I kept wanting it to be "split lip" even knowing that that would look different. Took me awhile to get tulips.

#4, I had "go into motion", which I think also works.

I missed #6 - I thought it was "coast lines."

I missed #6 as well I thought it was coast to coast which really didn't make sense.

@jasdip - thanks for not posting too too early. I'm on the west coast and sometimes I'm still pondering and do a last check right after dinner.

I also thought split lips but in retrospect realize that would have probably looked differently. Like Li ps.

I also thought #1 was split lip. And thought #6 was coast lines but I was grasping for that one.

I'm another one that thought #1 was 'split lips'. #2 was easy, 3 took a bit longer. Never did get #6, guess it is too simple!

Got them all. At first I thought the first one could be lips edge, but did come up with tulips after that. No 6 I got the coast is clear but every time I came back to the puzzle, I would forget what it was. I finally wrote it down!
