I have the Nadeau, hanging from the ceiling, in a guest bedroom. I can grab a picture if you would like? It looks like you have enough space for two of the Nadeau fixtures. Be careful. It comes in large and medium.

I think 14" diameter pendants are too big. 8"-10" max, IMO. I like the direction you're going in. Have you seen these from Circa lighting? Brings in the black in addition to the matte brass.

Thank you both so much for responding. I’d love to see a picture of the Nadeau. I’m planning to get the small one if I do go with that. I love the hicks pendant from circa but it’s out of my price range. Also because I’m planning on doing a white globe chandelier in the dinning nook across I don’t know if that style will coordinate or be too matchy? I added a couple of mock ups I did with the light I’m considering for context.

I would not add two pendants to this island too much clutter. and yes those are too large. I am on repeat here when I say blow up some ballons t to scale and hang them up to see if they are too bulky. It's only a 5-foot island. Why not put them over the peninsula instead.

The peninsula overlooks a small dining nook and there is already a chandelier there(which I am planning to change). There’s also a chandelier off to the side of the island, which we are getting rid of and replacing with pendant lights over it. The chandelier in the kitchen was intended for a kitchen table but I got rid of that when I added the island for storage

I will try the balloon trick again. The first time I did I had not started looking at specific pendant lights and the balloons looked okay (to my eye) at 12” so o thought I could get away with 14” when I found the Mitzi lights

my island is about the same width as yours (but longer) I had to be careful in staying under 14". 12 was better.

I finally settled on these. I believe they are 12-13 in diameter.

you could prob do 14" and mount them lengthwise. I wouldn't go any larger.

I still think 2 - 14” pendants will look good over your island going lengthwise. This is a picture of the Nadeau in 14”.

Thanks riverrat1. Can you tell me how much light it gives off? I don’t see a 14” option on wayfair. I only see it in the 12” option and a larger 18” size.

Please excuse chest in bottom of pic. We are having some touch up painting done and I had to move the furniture out of the way. This picture shows the volume of light it gives off with a 4000k LED light bulb. All other lights are off in the room.

I made a mistake. These are the 18" Nadeau. I was getting them confused with another light we were looking at. I hope this didn't cause any confusion for you.

Hi, for your 63" kitchen Island you could use a 5 small pendants chandelier. Each handblown glass pendant is 4" and combines clear glass and frost that will good well with your milk glass globe chandelier.
