A quick first glance gave me #1 and that's it. Need more coffee.

I have 3 more, I think. Sometimes I think I have them and then discover I was wrong in my interpretation.

I do 7 little words every day with mostly no problems but these half the time baffle me. That part of my brain is not working.

I might be playing fast and loose with 4, but I like my solution. 5 is baffling me, though.

I only understand the first one.

#5 has me stumped as well but I think I have the rest figured out. We'll see.........:-)

#5 is the second one I got and I don't understand the old fashioned social attitude. Not sure about 3. Loved 2 because it was the easiest along with #6.

I can't get #4 or #5, either one. #1 is downright easy, #s 2, 3, & 6 took some thinking. Seeing the answers will be interesting.

Grrrrr, that'll teach me for commenting while between calls as I was doing last night. My comment that #4 was a fixture in western movies was a typo as you thought. It should have been #3.

I thought #3 was yesterday. But now I get it but would never have gotten it on my own and same with number 5.

I was right on #'s 1, 2 and 3. I thought #6 was 'stand off'. As for #4, it's kind of funny. "Back to the Future' did briefly cross my mind, but then I read Fun2B's hints. Having no idea of what 'McFly' might be, I figured my idea was wrong. No way I'd ever come up with 'midwife' for #5, but it makes perfect sense when you see it. My mind was hung up on something to do with splitting up with the wife, divorce, something along those lines.
