Comments (8)My husband and I bought this mattress in August and I LOVE it. We replaced a conventional mattress we bought a few years ago (Sealy or Simmons which was absolutely horrible), and I wish we'd done it sooner. We were willing to give a memory foam mattress a try because we hadn't been satisfied the last time with a conventional spring mattress, even with traipsing around to mattress stores lying down. It was between a Casper memory foam mattress and the Costco Serafina -- the Consumer Reports review decided us. I will say I've had back problems and prefer a firmer mattress. I love the low movement part -- when my husband gets in bed or rolls over, the mattress no longer dips and takes me with it. And the sheets stay put nicely. I'm dealing with menopause and was more than a bit concerned about the "hot" aspect of a memory foam mattress but it hasn't been a problem at all. We used our old low profile boxspring. We have to buy four new mattresses for our new house and they'll all be Costco Serafinas after our test run this year....See MoreHow about this table from Wayfair?
Comments (7)Unusual to find a pedestal that isn't round. It's interesting, and at that price I'd expect the quality to be ok -- but I was already wondering about the stability (probably okay at 44") when you mentioned that it expands. Looks like the second photo you posted is with the leaves. The look like peg or slide on extensions. That's going to be your weakest point and could be vulnerable if you have folks who lean a lot or push to sit and stand. It's also modestly priced, so you might be okay with replacing or repairing after a while. It's not going to get daily use, so it might not be an issue for a long time. Just something to consider going in....See MoreHas anyone bought Cambria from Kitchen Magic (via Costco)?
Comments (2)I haven't used them for anything - that's my problem, that I don't know anything about the quality of their work. My experience has been their relentless hard sell, which was a huge turnoff for me. Just from the initial phone call I see that their goal is drum up as much business from me as they can. I kept telling her that all I need is a countertop in the bathroom, and she wants to know what work I might need in the kitchen. They are Cambria certified, and what I like about going through Costco is that it's Costco that (I believe) would stand behind their product. But I'm also going to get a quote from a local cabinet shop that's been around for ages and has a good reputation. If the price difference isn't enormous, I'll probably go with the local guys....See Morekharten
