Thx EMT, is this how you brought yours back, by cutting & soaking? HI GL, I'd potted up the plant, more than a month ago, but it appears not to be taking up liquid. So, I unpotted it, saw roots at the bottom of the stem & cut some of them off, cutting back the a bit of the bottom stem end to green growth, in btwn some of the roots (still left some). Am trying to get it to drink & plump up. Today, while it doesn't look better, it does feel firmer when I hold the cutting in my hand.

She brought it over and the LCD was completely undamaged. In the corner, it was slightly separated from the frame. The frame was damaged a bit, bent so that the corner of the LCD would not "snap" into place. It would stay in place if we held it with our fingers, but wouldn't be secure. There's also a dent in the base by the keyboard (same corner when it's closed), but that's cosmetic. I turned it off, pried the corner of the frame a bit and snapped the LCD back into place. We both heard it snap in and I could feel it make the connection. To be on the safe side, we used some clear packing tape. You can certainly see the tape, and if you look from certain angles, you can see that it's not quite square, but all in all, it's in pretty good shape. When she called, I thought the repairs would be a couple of hundred dollars if I did them myself, so I'm VERY relieved that it was so easy to fix. And I'm also relieved that my daughter, a senior in high school, didn't insist that we needed to replace the entire case since it no longer looked new.

Thanks for all the suggestions - I tried looking at the "Filter MAC Addresses" and not sure I am understanding - but I went to the web address for the router and found the place where you can select the option for "Only Allow Computers with MAC Address Listed Below to Connect" but that option was not selected and no addresses listed. So I didn't feel comfortable setting it up as opposed to adding another address if there'd already been some listed there. I did follow the instructions for finding the address on the laptop but the number looked a bit strange - just a bunch of zero's with an alpha character at the end which made me think maybe I hadn't found the actual address and of course that made me hesitant about adding to the router for fear I might foul up the 2 computers that are working correctly. I did try the 'flush' and powered everything back up in the sequence you gave me but same thing, and then had to do it again in order to get the 2 original computers back online. So now, I am debating the uninstall of the Lenovo ReadyConn - I may try that when I get the courage. OR I've been thinking that I might just be better off buying a new router. The one I have is 3 years old - if it's old for a router, then maybe that is my best bet and hope a new one will fix my issues. I can't thank you enough for all the help you've given. I'll keep working with this and trying and re-trying as I have time over the next few days. If/when I get this resolved I'll let you know what I've come up with.
