Stuffing covered in turkey gravy!

Sweet potatoes with no marshmallow or drowning in brown sugar and dressing, plus I love vegetables!

Stuffing is #1 for me followed by green bean casserole.

Cornbread stuffing is my favorite, and I make it even if I do not have turkey. I also like green beans, but we won't be having those this year, it seems.

I don't like anything sweet as a side dish, except for cranberry sauce, which can be a bit tart, if made correctly.

Cranberry sauce, Elmer's recipe is heavenly.

My stuffing!!! Cranberries - just barely popped and real tart. My mouth is watering.

My stuffing. I can't really think of any sides I don't serve with other things throughout the year. But we keep it relatively simple and traditional at holiday meals. Not happening this year.

Growing up my favorite sides were the appetizers. Chopped liver, eggplant caviar, radishes spread with butter, a beet and potato salad, the olives and pickles, I loved them all as a child.

Ditto on delicious cornbread dressing as my favorite. I look forward to turnip puff ( I make mine with rutabaga) on T-day. The group's favorite veggie is roasted, crispy Brussels sprouts.

Cranberries and Sweet Potatoes fixed...candied or casserole or even baked.

My real favorite....the turkey for sandwiches the next day.

A good dressing / stuffing.

Cornbread dressing. I like it so much that I cook chicken and dressing every couple of weeks.

Sage stuffing, very traditional with onions and celery, lots of butter and broth.

Butternut squash. Actually my very favorite is a cranberry gelatin mold but since the kids are gone, I'm the only one that likes it so I don't make it. Now you have me thinking. I just might make it. :-)))

Probably the mashed potatoes with turkey gravy because I don't have it any other time of the year.

I just added whole berry cranberry sauce and black cherry gelatin to my order for tomorrow pick-up. During this pandemic I should do everything possible to stay happy!

These are equally my favourites.

Love the turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy. We have sweet potato medallions just roasted in the oven brushed with olive oil and everybody gobbles those down including me. Brussels sprouts! Obviously I love Christmas dinner and Thanksgiving dinner!

seagrass here, BTW....Stuffing/dressing is #1 on my list. It's a once-a-year treat.

I’d say stuffing but you asked for SIDE dish lol. In my single days, I would actually have Stove Top for dinner!

Madeira-Sausage stuffing. Sweet Potato Pudding (has cider, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger). Tart Cherry mold.

The colossal olives with pits still in them. Lindsey doesn't sell them with pits anymore but Cento still does if you can find them.

Also the giblet gravy goes over pretty much everything on my plate.

Stuffing/dressing. I make my grandmother's Sausage Stuffing recipe every year.

I wasn't going to make a turkey dinner this year but the thoughts of stuffing and other things made me order one today for delivery tomorrow. I'll make it this weekend when I'm off. I asked for the smallest one they had. I also got stuff to make turkey sandwiches later, stuffing, jellied cranberry sauce in a can (lol) and jarred gravy. I'll also make one of my small squash from the garden with brown sugar, pecans and cinnamon for a substitute for pumpkin pie/sweet potatoes. My daughter is leaving tomorrow for R.I. so it will just be me. I hope they bring a tiny turkey!

Gonna be just me. Bought a pork tenderloin, make a green bean casserole if I have the notion, stove top dressing. if I have the notion OR else it will be deviled ham on rye.

It depends on who is doing the cooking. One grandson & his wife make a green bean casserole that I love and would be perfectly happy with just it for my meal. Everyone else's is barely edible in IMHO.

Other than that, the oyster dressing that I make.

Or sweet potatoes baked in their skins, in the oven, and served like baked potatoes, just halved and with lots of butter.
