The crucial point in your other post was that this plant was supposedly "several months old" (so it is really approx. 1 1/2 to 2 months old, correct?) and only "18 inches tall". That is the real problem I fear. A Celebrity, even tho it is a semi-determinate variety, that is even 2 months old should be much bigger plant - at least 3 feet tall. This is especially true with all the feeding you have given it. Now I see the problem. (1) Compacted soil - it sounds like you didn't use a soil-less potting mix but maybe used Miracle Grow Garden Soil for Vegetables. Correct? It is not intended for use in containers. And (2) no holes for drainage in the container so the water "collects in the bottom", correct? Size of the container - if it is a 5-7 gallon should be fairly ok but the combination of poorly draining soil and water collecting in the bottom of the pot which causes root rot may explain the small size. And the very stressed plant with the high temps explains the blossom drop. My suggestion would be to find a bigger container that has room for you to add some good quality soil-less mix to and still have room for this plant and then transplant this plant into it. Make sure it has drain holes in it. I'd pinch off all or most of the current blooms - they aren't going to amount to anything anyway so no loss - and keep it in the shade for 3-4 days. I think you should see a marked improvement in the plant within that time. Keep the plant alive and healthy until the air temps cool and you'll get some fruit set. I have a clawfoot tub/fountain in my front yard, and a drainboard sink/potting bench in the back yard. They were free, and in about the same condition as yours appear to be. For the same uses, $25 each is probably the most I would pay, if I didn't have to wade through mud to get them. Would you be able to find a couple of friends (or pay a couple of neighborhood teens $20) to drag them out of the barn? Clean them up, take better pics (as lazygardens suggested), then ask for an offer. Another option would be to ask if you can post ads at plant nurseries or landscaping businesses in your area. Again, include better pics. If you don't want to invest effort and time in cleaning them up, call a salvage yard--they probably have set prices for those items.

Thank you, everyone. I just talked to the carpenter and he agrees with you, Chris. He said he will scribe (?) the baseboard to fit the curve of the vanity legs. I hope I got the term correct. The next step is to wait for the plumber and the granite fabricators to call me back on their solution to the sink installation. A friend thinks that the fabricator will have clips to attach my sink to the granite. I've never done anything with stone countertops before so this will be my first time doing this. Thanks for all the handholding and suggestions. One of these days things will finally be finished in this build and I'll try to learn a new skill and post pictures of how it all turned out.

It shouldn't be a big deal, but you would have to first remove the old vanity and then open up the wall and do some re-plumbing. You would cap off one drain and one set of hot and cold pipes in the wall. Then you would need to route the other drain and set of hot and cold pipes laterally within the stud space so they would be in the center; this might require notching out one stud, depending on where things are located. Which set of pipes you would choose to cap off might depend on where things were in the wall in relation to the studs: it's possible that one side might be easier to re-route to the center than the other, or one side might be a shorter run to the drain. It's hard to say before you open the wall, but that's the general idea. Once you re-did the plumbing and repaired the sheet rock, you would be ready to install the new vanity. Oh, and if you don't have shutoff valves under the sinks, use this as an opportunity to install a set on the pair of supply lines you will be using. Hope that helps.
