I think that your white appliances look great in your kitchen.

There have been a lot of reports of out of stock items due to COVID. You may not be able to get these particular refrigerators. That said, I wouldn't pay the premium price on the GE Cafe matte white. I also don't worry much about everything being the same brand. I'd rather have the features I want rather than the same brand label. Agree that stainless would provide a break for all the white, and you wouldn't have to worry about the whites matching.

When you say the door/s will be painted dark blue do you mean the door into the kitchen or the cabinet doors? When I read that part initially I immediately pictured dark blue cabinets with brass hardware...and if those were right near the fridge I think a white matte fridge with brass handles would be lovely.

But if the cabinets there are going to remain white and the counter will have some gray in it (I can never remember which quartz looks like what) then a stainless fridge would go quite nicely and wouldn't clash with the ovens. I believe you can also get the brass handles on the Cafe stainless fridge, but that wouldn't be a must.

Thank you all! Yes, the cabinets will stay white, and the large door from the mudroom into the kitchen will be dark blue (we have started painting it in the photo). And the counters will have some light gray veining.

Someone recently posted about their new white fridge and they were quite unhappy with the cool white fridge that clashed with their warmer white cabinets. I would take off a cabinet door and take it to the appliance showroom to make sure that the whites of the cabinets and fridge will look good together. If you put a cool toned white fridge in that kitchen, it will be like playing the game of "one of these is not like the others"!

I also think your fridge, if white, needs to relate to the ovens, so I would certainly not choose the matte one. The matte one will scream "new 2020 trendy item" added to older appliances.

I agree with almost everyone here. If it were me (and I DO like a white kitchen), I'd go for a stainless refrigerator. And when your wall ovens need to be replaced, I'd get those in stainless as well. You have a lovely, large kitchen.

I like the idea of a white fridge, so I can see why you feel torn. It’s a lot of white, but I would be fine with that, if it was my house. However, I do see stainless pieces in your kitchen, the faucet, the trim around the cooktop, microwave and coffee pot. so I think you wouldn’t go wrong with stainless fridge. Having the ice and water inside gives it a sleeker look.

I just heard an appliance tech say he gets the most calls for Samsung, LG & GE refrigerators. GE is no longer the GE we grew up with. It was sold off.
