I’m having a hard time with a paint color for my large living room that is going to be adjacent to a den/sunroom that I have painted BM Hale Navy. I want it to be in the light blue realm and feel beachy/cottagey. I selected BM Summer Shower and it is coming across too bright, almost electric blue in my space. The trim will be painted a true white. The adjacent dining room and kitchen will be SW Network Gray. The room is south facing and gets a lot of natural light. I used SW Tradewind in the bedroom upstairs with the same exposure and I love it, but I want something different. Ideas? Also all the carpet will be gone next week and the floors will be a medium to dark brown stain. Provincial or similar. Prefer to stick with Benjamin Moore or Sherwin Williams.
