Gean- I hope you make it over...it's a beautiful garden! :) Ogrose- It's outside of Spokane, maybe 10 miles or less. We're about 15 miles in the other direction but it didn't take very long to get there. Well worth the trip. Do you ever miss the summers in Montana?

What a beautiful day for a garden tour! Sunny and warm, but not too hot and lots of shady spaces to sit and take a break, too. The gazebos, tunnels, arbors, etc. and so many nice trees. Just a wonderful garden :) And, lots of fun going through the greenhouses, too. We did see lots of lovely roses, but we were most excited that the two we bought (sight unsmelled LOL) were so fragrant! Mom had purchased Golden Celebration and I had chosen Cottage Rose...so very excited that they turned out to be so beautiful and fragrant, in real life. They'll be open in September for a few days, just to see the hydrangeas, so we'll be planning another trip, then. Not only beautiful flowers, but so many good ideas for laying out the gardens, themselves. I really want a formal rose garden, now...with a deer fence! LOL

I'm in California and it was slightly cheaper to order from Northland Rosarium, but their shipping charge is for two plants, even if you order just one (so I ordered two). If I want just one plant, Heirloom Roses is slightly less $. Good to hear you received nice plants. I won't get mine until the fall, as I requested. I'm really looking forward to growing Quick Silver. What did you get Jane?

Ooooo, your Colette is so Opulent Diane ! It must be wonderful to go out in the yard and bask in the beauty. I was really hoping to hear how the Rosarium shopping trip went , but I bet there is a lot of digging and potting going on tonight until dark. Next year I hope Northland will carry Colette. I missed a couple roses that I really wanted. Variegatta di Bologna sold out while I was trying to plan a trip there. I should have pre-ordered. Well, day is almost done, I'm happy with my roses that I have. I can't imagine having more rose work to do than this, but I really like to hear about everyone elses.
