We are finishing our basement and have drywalled the ceiling. It has been primed and is ready to paint. Is there a recommended paint brand for ceilings? We are using Sherwin Williams for our walls but it gets poor reviews for ceiling paint. Is there another brand that we should using for ceilings? I’d like a pure white color, and don’t want it to have a blue or grey tint. Also, is it better to do one thick coat or should we be prepared to do two coats of paint? Thanks!
