Acrylic will become less transparent over time, but will not break as easily or into as many pieces as glass. Tempered glass will not break as easily as regular window glass, but is more expensive.

:) I’m glad it was helpful. I was thinking the tree could also be in a planter, but maybe just a rectangle one would be good. THe tree might help screen some of the empty wall space though. The gate with vines would look nice too, just dont block that beautiful view. I used the sketches ap on my ipad...I screen shot your pic, uploaded it to the ap, and then drew everything in. It’s very easy.

Maybe Repose Gray, Krypton or Folkstone, but you'd have to check with sample cans. The way they look on my screen with the brick/mortar could be deceiving. Krypton could be a bit too gray. Portrait Tone and Decorous Amber both lean a little too orange, unless that's what you want. Can you post a better picture of the metal security doors? Offhand I'd say you don't want them to be a different color than the door...if they have to stay. It would be nice if someone here could do some mockups for you. I'm not good with that.
