Yes, Hi to all. I'm touched by the kind thoughts. I'm here and all is fine, just bobbing up and down with the wind driven swells and waves of life in these strange times.

You're all dear to me, believe me. Well, maybe not all of you but very many of you are. Those who try to think on your own two feet (as I try to too) and that's most of you.

There are too many who visit here who think that a comment of disagreement is a personal attack. Or those who attack someone, often me, as being a "know it all" because I may know more about a topic than they do. It's a personal defense mechanism to attack. It's tiresome.

I'm a lifelong curious person, a trivia hound. Tease me about that if you need to, but avoid the personal attacks that say more about the utterer than about me.

I hope y'all and your friends and family remain safe, happy and well. Thanks again for thinking of me and the kind wishes which I return to you 2X.

Good to hear from you, Elmer. I know from my standpoint, many including you, are missed when I don't see them here after several days. I tend not to write anything for a few days sometimes due to just being busy with my volunteer days or whatever I'm engaged with at home. Or just don't want to engage in a word battle. Or whatever. Anyway, good to know you're fine. I tend to call my friends and engage that way as much as possible.

Good to hear that you're alright there, Elmer. I actually appreciate your intelligence-thats something that is hard to come by in most people these days.

I've missed you, too, Elmer. I recall you saying things were happening in life to keep you occupied. And you have quite clearly a curious, critical-thinking mind, and I always look forward to seeing what you have to say. Don't stay away too long!

I know that hugs and the violation of personal space by a male can be very uncomfortable for women and I ALWAYS have avoided initiating or doing any such conduct.

Having said that, if we were together in person and any of you started a hug, you can be sure I would return it respectfully and sincerely. Thank you all so much.

Elmer! I always enjoy reading your contributions. Glad you’re fine.

I asked about Elmer too recently and was glad to hear his response that he and his family are fine. He has just been quiet lately which seems to concern us as he is usually quite lively. Despite the skirmishes that sometimes happen here, I am glad he sees that he is valued and cared about.

I haven’t been here very long. Since early 2019. I don’t comment as much as some, but I enjoy reading the thoughts.

As a very overly sensitive (I’ve been told) person, I don’t forget when someone expresses true empathy for someone. It wasn’t directed at me. I don’t remember who it was, but it was very kind.

For what it’s worth, once I see that, a person is ok in my book. So I’m glad you’re ok.
