SW Pearly white

SW7004 Snowbound. We are building a new home and used this on our kitchen cabinets. They turned out beautifully and look wonderful with the quartz countertop.

How can anyone possibly comment without seeing or understanding what exact Tuscan finishes you have?

What else are you planning to change? Your doors are off white, and your flooring and backsplash are also leaning yellow. I do not think white-white would look good with the rest of these finishes.

I’m planning on painting the trim in BM Simply White. The walls will either be neutral or BM Fantasy Blue - still deciding and flexible on the wall color.

I have SW Alabaster and love it. Trim Doors and Ceilings are also SW Alabaster. Not white white and not yellow white. Walls are SW crushed ice.

I would paint the cabinets the same as the trim. in our new build, the cabinets and trim are both painted in SW Alabaster.

Benjamin Moore White Dove is a good choice. Slightly warmer white but not overly so that you see yellow undertones. I used that on my walls (flat) and all the mouldings (semi gloss) love it. Will be using it to repaint my kitchen cabinets this winter.

If you are not going to change the tile , a clean white might make them look dingy .

Leave the cabinets alone. They are the best part of the kitchen. They are what distract you from the floors, counters, and backsplash. Those are the offenders that Tuscanize the home. If you paint the cabinets, you remove that contrast and focal point. All you will see is the floors, counters, and backsplash.

Take that 10K, and put it towards changing the counters and backsplash first. Then add lighting. The floors may fade away with the right choices there. No stark cold colors. Warm whites. Or, the floors may need to go first if they run throughout the home. That that would be expensive to change, but oh so necessary if you want to move away from that Tuscan style for the home as a whole.

Hire a Kitchen Designer to develop a holistic plan to get the result that you want. Piecemeal tackling it will lead to a piecemeal result that isn’t cohesive.
