here's a trick ... next time.. buy a plant with one single flower in bloom.. and covered with a hundred buds ... then you can spend the next few weeks watching it bloom ... never buy a plant i full bloom ... the show will be short .. it will rebloom.. but its going to take.. 4 to 6 weeks to rebud and bloom ... and there is nothing you can do to speed it up .... all it needs between now and them... if PROPER watering .... give it a good drink.. and then let it near dry before you do that again .... i suggest a tray under it.. in case it leaks ... i would bet a shiny penny.. the media is sponge like ... and holds a lot of water.. as such.. it does not need constant daily water ... the weight of the pot.. the loss of water.. will tell you when it is starting to dry ... ken

Hmm, looks a bit more like Melilotus officinalis, than Melilotus indicus (which looks stubbier)? If so, Melilotus officinalis is nonnative, but at least has many edible/medicinal uses... Thanks!!

Looks like a broom relative, possibly Genista lydia.
