Master bedroom furniture placement...need advice quick!
Comments (9)I think your furniture placement will be all right, ncamy. I suggest a few things: 1. get slightly smaller club chairs than the current "overstuffed" size. (I've always wondered who that furniture is for, as you can only actually sit in the space provided and the arms and back don't add to one's comfort!) 2. Get chairs that swivel, so you can move them to and fro according to the light in the room, and 3. put one ottoman between the two chairs. You can face each other and use the single ottoman and still watch the screen, or you can put a tray on the ottoman and use it as a side table for the two chairs....See MoreDresser placement in master bedroom
Comments (7)Center the bed on the wall directly centered on the ceiling beam, and place a large three drawer chest on either side of the bed and forego the dresser. This way each person gets three drawers to use and you're not in one another's way. Seems you have plenty of ways to view out the windows, so it make no logic to have to center the bed on the windows. What looks worse is all that space as you enter for no reason. Select lamps that are beefier in appearance, slightly taller than your headboard height. Chests should be at least as high as your mattress. See examples of how it's done below....See MorePlease help with art and lighting placement in master bedroom
Comments (65)I want to thank you all for your wonderful suggestions, and honest (but kind) criticism. Every comment/suggestion was appreciated. I’ve cringed over some of the the mean, snarky comments that I’ve sometimes seen in other Houzz discussions (I’m sure you know the usual culprits), so I really appreciate the courtesy and the genuine willingness to help that I’ve experienced here. I feel like I can make a good decision now. You guys rock!...See Morehelp with master bedroom furniture placement
Comments (2)What is your question really? I mean it is the master bedroom right? Perhaps you work on the closets and get a closet system built in so you can eliminate the dresser. 1. invest in a larger curtain rod and new curtains with more panels to fool the eye with the of center window. 2. possibly turn the tall dresser to go beside the bed and give you some more walking space. 3. work on your closet perhaps find away to add shelves and loose the dresser with the mirror....See MoreLala
