Flat TV placement in bedroom--seen any dresser/hutch combos?
Comments (5)Thanks. I do think we'll be hanging a LCD on the wall above the dresser(ours will only be 19-21"). I do find that other stores/furniture-makers mimic Pottery Barn pieces 6 months to a year after they come out with something--but I'm not waiting that long and there are no guarantees! Aside from a simple TV mounted on the wall, these are other ideas I've received: --Hanging the tv behind a mirror that is made for TV in the bedroom. These mirrors are less opaque than the ones used in bathroom/TV setups--but they are very expensive at this pt! --I think one TV manufacturer is making a tv that is already a mirror when off--Philips? Again, very expensive. --Put the TV up on the wall but put a frame around it like a picture. Someone suggested velcro to attach to the frame of TV(?) I guess you'd just have to be careful to be sure it doesn't hinder air circulation. --Place other pictures, plates, etc around the tv (if it's not a big one) and treat it like another picture. And searching Google images is a good idea....See MoreMaster bedroom furniture placement...need advice quick!
Comments (9)I think your furniture placement will be all right, ncamy. I suggest a few things: 1. get slightly smaller club chairs than the current "overstuffed" size. (I've always wondered who that furniture is for, as you can only actually sit in the space provided and the arms and back don't add to one's comfort!) 2. Get chairs that swivel, so you can move them to and fro according to the light in the room, and 3. put one ottoman between the two chairs. You can face each other and use the single ottoman and still watch the screen, or you can put a tray on the ottoman and use it as a side table for the two chairs....See Morehelp with master bedroom furniture placement
Comments (2)What is your question really? I mean it is the master bedroom right? Perhaps you work on the closets and get a closet system built in so you can eliminate the dresser. 1. invest in a larger curtain rod and new curtains with more panels to fool the eye with the of center window. 2. possibly turn the tall dresser to go beside the bed and give you some more walking space. 3. work on your closet perhaps find away to add shelves and loose the dresser with the mirror....See MorePlease help me choose a dresser for my master bedroom
Comments (4)I like the gray one, but think you need to get some color and plushness into the room. Have you found a rug?...See Moredaisygirl
