Help pick paint colors for this Tuscan style home
Comments (9)that's odd, that they left that one white window! but yes, agree to doing them white. I love the woven wood window blinds. Gorgeous home. the finishes are beautiful. Interesting to see what furniture you decide to get. That Tuscan style isn't my first choice either. I don't think you can go wrong w/the white trim/baseboards/crown. If you do the white wainscot, white walls and trim, then hopefully you can bring some color in rugs, art, pillows, etc. What I'm really liking recently, is soft blush pinks w/white, some gold and silver. gray leather sofas, marble accents, soft wood,, tufted sofas, black and white prints, But with the white, I also love some dark wood elements. keeps the white from looking too sterile What is your style as far as furniture? this one is a lot of white! its nice, but I'd have to bring in a fiddle leaf fig tree, some other plants, and maybe a velvet accent chair in turquoise or pale lilac.and artwork. I love original artwork on canvas with colors or nature photography. I have a few Lik, King and Mangelsen works that I just love because they bring in color to the room....See MoreHelp picking out new pendant lights in entrance way- what style?
Comments (24)Are we talking about the "entry" right at the front door? Or the space up on the step up area toward the stairs. Basically, though, it's the base of the table that will somewhat define the style. The more rustic, it becomes more "Mountain lodge" and the more refined it can go modern, contemporary or even more "transitional". They are also pretty expensive so before you invest money there, figure out how much you want to or can spend now, and then start selecting things you like and create an "Ideabook" here on Houzz. That will help you "define" which style direction you like. You can "like" a number of styles, but ultimately one will become more apparent than others....See MoreHelp! What style garage door should I pick?
Comments (11)Those shutter are not appropriate on those windows so forget making the garge door work with them. The doors you show are MCM style and not at all craftsman which BTW will never be your house without huge $$$$$ spent. I would remove some of the growth covering your entry for sure , IMO it is important to see the entry to a home. I think darker trim and darker windows could be a huge improvement over the white and honestly a new paint color would be a great idea. Then do a nice wood door with windows but not quite as modern looking as the ones you show.If you are painting the siding then I would plan on removing the arched window it really does nothing for the house....See MoreNeed help picking the right color and style duvet cover
