Option 1 Feels bigger. Although it starts off narrow, more time is spent in front of a sink I think. It feels roomier opposite your tub rather than option 2. With the toilet at the beginning of your bathroom space and with the doorway always remainging open, be sure to have good ventilation. What is at the top of the image in these bathrooms please? Closet or storage, shelving etc....?

Option 1. But what about leading with the closet space and centering the tub under the windows? I think sliding doors on the closets and pocket doors to the dressing area and the bath.

Never access to a closet through the bathroom and if you really want the space to look lager get rid of the toilet room which IMO is so silly since no one should be using the toilet while someone else is in the bathroom this seems to be a NA thing and makes no sense to me. In Europe where that toilet is in an actual separate space that makes sense. The idea that you don’t want to see the toilet to me is just silly it is a bathroom and toilet rooms take up space both physically and visually . I like Houssaons layout minus the closed in toilet room plus a much better closet space

I wouldn't want the toilet to be right next to the bedroom, in case someone has to flush in the middle of the night.

Definitely Houssaon's. And if you don't actually care for the water closet, you could just get rid of it, leave the toilet as-is (save the $$), and have a longer vanity, with or without a pony wall at the end.

It will be easier to clean around the toilet if it is not housed in a closet and if it hangs from the wall. If you plan on aging in place here, arrange the toilet location where assist bars can go on walls later on. Bear in mind a wheelchair needs 5' of turning pace should that scenario ever play out. Agree that the closet should be at the bedroom end of the space. Who wants to run back for a jacket in chilly weather to find the bathroom occupied so that you can't access the closet?

I like houssaon 's layout and no toilet room. The least walls you have the more spacious your bathroom would be.

Also two parallels rows of closet hanging space is a lot more efficient because you don't have to deal with clothes trapped in a corner and usually it gives you more hanging space.

I was just going to suggest the same as Houssaon! But get rid of the toilet room...yet still have one wall between it and the vanity. While I don't like the toilet rooms....a buffer wall would be nice. The shower and the toilet are the two noisy things....all the way at the end. I like that. I would also add a bidet or bidet/toilet combo. I've always wanted one...and never had the space....looks like you do!

Totally agree with @houssaon Flank the closets on either side of the hallway leading from the bedroom to the bath.

I also like houssaon's idea - moving less plumbing is smart; I put a somewhat tall-is bookshelf between toilet and sink to hide/store toilet paper, monthly goods, plunger, etc. No need for a room!

Definitely NOT Option 1, because of the sight lines between the bed and the toilet. You've already said you don't use the door, and I would not want that view, if waiting for you in bed.
