This is the view of the upper bay from Amtrak and MARC commuter trains crossing from Harford to Cecil County in Maryland. The highest hills of the Elk Neck Peninsula in the distance are only 264' high...but I'm pretty sure that's the highest elevation you can see on deep* coastal waters of the eastern US, between the NYC area and the volcanic islands of the Caribbean.
