I agree that your wall color is throwing everything off. Warm and cool are tough to blend. You can make it look intentional by finding some patterned items and accessories that have warm tones and silver mixed together but in your case I think painting is the easiest solution. The same issue will happen if you pick gray floors. I would pick a light/medium brown/beige toned LVT with minimal pattern. There are tons of LVT choices. Have you decided on a brand yet? Wood look or tile look? Definitely bring the art down to people height. There is a tendency to want to "fill up" taller walls by hanging decorative items very high. But if you decorate nicely at people height, the tall ceilings and walls will look light and airy, not bare. If you decide on a new rug, try to get one big enough to fit the furniture. The rug you have now is pretty but is more suited to an entry or dining area because of the shape.

You have options! An accent wall can be a great way to accentuate interesting architectural features. Pulling the dark smoky blue from your dining room onto the living room wall furthest from the dining room would help blend the spaces while balancing the visual weight of the saturated color. Painting the wall adjacent to the dining room in that color might create a density on that side of your blended spaces. The alternative would be to pull that blue in in accessories. I’m thinking three dark walls. This is B.M. Nocturnal Gray, but just a guess to colors in the paper. You do need some blue undertone to work with what I call the “mean” west light. My go to for west light is Patriotic White, so I moved down the strip to find something darker. This color would show great with the white crib, and you could add a white rug on the floor, and a white lamp on the dresser.

I recognize that rug, Wayfair.com Is it Black or Navy? The sectional and rug look fine together, I'd get rid of the dark pillows you have now, and replace with light cream pillows, solid color, different textures. A clean White for the walls will freshen up the space. If you are after an accent, I'd go with a Navy so you have a real contrast. Would be nice to see a fuller view of the room.
