Comments (10)Your spacing of 6' probably means they will need to be 6" cans if there aren't any other supplemental lighting (floor/table lamps). Draw a larger circle around each one, any size it doesn't matter, then see how the cone of light throw will affect certain areas - like at the tv wall, the corner of ref (I think that's it), compete with windows - and where you will have hot spots or darker wall areas in between the throws. There is lots of lighting up of large open floor areas, but I'm not sure if this drawing is fully representative showing stairs, closets and such. The kitchen lighting works in terms of a value proposition - but most people would want something more if there isn't a monetary choice....See MoreLindsay Creel
