Don't give up - grays and beiges absolutely can intermingle. There are some lovely inspiration pics online. One could say I have a beige house - all beige carpeting and beige walls and the sofa and loveseat in my formal room are also beige! I was determined to update things a bit with some gray, and with some trial and error I found some colors that worked. It was difficult because I can't repaint the entire beige two story open concept interior, but for instance I was able to add gray pillows on my beige couch that look beautiful (my neighbor wanted to know where I got them so she could do the same thing with her beige couch) and some gray and white curtains that match the pillows and look lovely against the beige walls. Okay, it'll likely be different for you, but I found SW Functional Gray for my dark gray shade and BM Revere Pewter for my light gray shade. I found for my house, the beige paint made all the grays I tried pull blue, if that makes sense (and yes, they are separated by pure white trim). Those two were the first couple I found that still at least looked gray, even if they didn't look at all like the photos on-line. Hope that makes sense. So just keep trying, and beware of undertones! My neighbors ended up with a purple house because they didn't take the undertones seriously when they chose their gray. The cloudy skies where we live seem to make the undertones come out. The other gray house on the block looks green more often then not for the same reason.

Yes. We have a unit vacating on the 31st and I just paid for another 5 gallons of D of M. D of M belongs to the middle of the Yellow hue family. (see the Colorography) When some yellows (most yellows) get darker and grayer they looker greener. It's not always noticeable, however. It's more like there are moments of greeness not necessarily an inherent sense of greeness. Personally, like that edge of greeness because to me it reads fresh and clean. What all that means is classic color theories apply. Colors that go with yellow and green will go with D of M and colors that don't, won't. Drift of Mist Colorography.

Thank you everyone for some great ideas. There is no natural light, but it really isn't as yellow as it looks in the photos. Probably a really good idea to prime first and then look again at my swatches. The gray idea came from another post about a bathroom with almond fixtures. In that discussion it was mentioned that white or cream makes the almond/beige fixtures and tiles look dirty. They had finally decided on a gray color (SW Mindful Gray) that had some warm tones in it. From the photos, it looked good, but I know it is difficult to tell in a photo. I think if I go that direction, I might need to rethink the shower curtain.

It looks like this match is form 2018, and it also looks like they pulled this door color and reintroduced since. Can anyone confirm this match works with the current 2021 lerhyttan grey?
