New Printer--what kind???
Comments (5)I do not use my printer for anything businesslike, just for my own personal use--copying, scanning, etc. and making my own greeting cards, and it's an HP photosmart C4680. For my use it is absolutely fabulous. I would not trade it for another brand. And I do not and never have any connection with HP so whichever brand you choose is up to you. This one is just so right for my needs. Also, can find ink cartridges almost anywhere....See MoreSmal fonts when using new printer
Comments (11)I am using firefox as my browser, if I click on file at the top then on print preview it opens the page in the print preview pane, at the very top it has a scale option, usually it says shrink to fit but if you click the drop down arrow it gives you options for increasing the size. I even went to IE(which I never use) and also there when you select file at the top then print preview you have a scale option with a drop down arrow default says shrink to fit, but under the options you can select larger option. there should also be an option up there in the little icons if you hover your mouse over it will say show full width you can try that too....See MoreLooking to buy a printer - Have Questions
Comments (5)Wow, hopefully Lexmark have improved their products according to the 2 votes above. Good news! Lexmark were once very good printers then they seemed to go to the cheap and nasty stuff. Just this weekend I removed Lexmark X4250 from my wife's computer, it was troublesome from day one and Lexmark offered no fix so I had to find my own cure. You might take a squint at the Consumers Report on printers from April, linked below. Here is a link that might be useful: Consumers Report on printers, April 2008...See Moreneed new printer
Comments (9)My most recent printers are HP Officejet 4500 (non-wireless) that I bought for $60 each. They mostly work ok, but I don't print every day and sometimes they need a little coaxing. In addition to print-copy-scan they also fax and that has been very helpful to me. The only thing I really dislike is that it was a totally wasted effort to try and use non-HP cartridges in them. For $100 or less, I wouldn't describe any inkjet as reliable. It either works or it doesn't. In fact, in a year or two anything you buy will certainly be obsolete are mine already are.
