Furniture Design Dilemma living room

Hi! So I found this super affordable couch that didn’t exactly fit that color pattern I had in mind and now I have no idea what colors would go. Like for a rug, coffee table, wall art, etc. I’m terrible at this. The walls are white. Any advice/help is appreciated. Thank you. Side note, ignore the random couch blanket.

What colrs do you like those colors in a rug will help have them somewhere in the space The TV stand is ingeniuos but I think a new one is in your future. You can get nice ones at Ikea for little money. You will need a coffee table so maybe check those out whaile you look for the TV stand and you need art . I would start with the rug and build from that.These are few ideas for rugs Wayfair has some great ones for very little money

Thank you. I searched for a TV stand but it was hard finding one that fit my TV and the space there. Any colors are fine. Just whatever goes with what I already have. Maybe like industrial modern feel. What color rug would you suggest?

They might, but the color doesn't look in the same Hue family, and those particular style chairs are not very comfortable. But if they are more for "occasional" sitting, you might be OK. I would check to make sure the joints are in good shape and glued tightly. These have a tendency to separate. Also usually quite deep. So, sit in them and see what you think. I really like the other ones much better, but understand budget constraints too. So, just make your best judgement.

Thanks everyone... @Olychick, I was concern the TV would get nothing but glare from the windows with that configuration. The windows are on the west side and receive all the afternoon and evening light., which I like and use.. @decoenthusiate, I agree if I can manage to get a sectional and possibly updated chairs I may be able to use them as the focal point. Or the area rug first and built off it. Budget is around $1000 which is doable utilizing second hand market.... Once I work out the details; the style of pieces and color.... I can purchase items as they become available. Color and style of the pieces are what I am attempting to put together. you have a good base. all you need are accessories. art. here are similar furniture ideas to yours, but look at the overall room I love something like this w/your white sofa and rug. some nice contrast. and the art and decor items all blend in well or something like this if you need something for the tv

You could go in so many directions. Look at lots of inspiration pictures on Pintetest - search “brown couch in living room“ and ignore the couch size or shape and placement, just consider accessorizes.

- Save the rooms you like. Then review all your pictures and make a plan before buying anything. Be sure to look for smaller scale pieces and maybe do a floor plan to scale (including windows and doorways) so you know what will work. Also go with lighter furniture.

In regards to a console, tv is large and so not to overwhelm room any more than necessary, suggest a low profile console in a light color (one with storage may be handy)
