Cabinet Door Jam Button to Switch On/Off Electrical Outlet in Cabinet
Comments (7)I think you could make one of the door switches work with a vanity door, but I've never seen one that was rated for more than 10 amps. To activate power for a GFCI receptacle you need to be able to switch a minimum of 15 amps, and preferably 20 amps. Another option may be to use a 20 amp 120 volt A/C relay that is activated by a low voltage switch in the door frame. Remcon sells a closet light relay with low voltage switch, but its only rated for 6.5 amps. I'm sure they are available for higher amperage for special uses, but its not something you will find at HD or Lowes. Bruce...See MorePaint medicine cabinet door same color as wall or vanity cabinet?
Comments (13)Agree with Judy that the mirror should be the same color as vanity and side med cab should be the same color as the walls. Just be sure to get a satin or semigloss in the same color as the walls to paint the cabinet. Be sure to do proper prep to take the gloss off of all items before painting, use a primer, too. Top coat will stick better, be less likely to chip....See MoreFieldstone Cabinets? Signature Custom Cabinetry?
Comments (5)I have Signature custom cabinets from Ephrata, PA (Lancaster county) in my bathroom (2015) and kitchen (2018). I have both painted and stained cabinets. As of today I have not had any issues. Easy to clean (a little Dawn / water recommended followed by a dry towel). During the kitchen install my designer noticed the island needed molding at the bottom and called Signature. They sent out the molding (no extra cost) within a week (I actually live about 40 min away). When signature gave us a delivery date they delivered on time with each cabinet protected. My designer checked them with me and no issues. From a price standpoint they cost more than what my neighbor spent but the difference was my ability to maximize my space due to some custom sizes. No fillers. I don’t know about the other brand but I can say Signature was worth the money....See MoreWhite cabinets for the person who said no white cabinets
Comments (9)We love Swiss Coffee and Natural Cream, and with that tone of wood, you can’t go wrong with either. And honestly, the slab you choose for your counters and the type of backsplash you choose can greatly impact your cabinets. White kitchens aren’t ever going out of style, but choosing the right paint can feel overwhelming, especially when white wasn’t on your shortlist for cabinet colors. We have a post with our favorite white kitchen cabinet paint colors if that helps you narrow down your choice, but in the meantime, rest assured that any of those samples you have will be a beautiful white for your kitchen cabinets....See Moremrsmoulton
