The black is the odd man out. It’s a poor choice unless you swiffer hourly. And the two marbles have different background colors. Reselect.

Here are a couple photos that aren’t a perfect match, but they use marble walls and black shower floors.

click on my name and look at the pics of my bathroom. I used all three items, but not the porcelain. I don't like fake marble against real marble.

I have the black marble on my shower floor and its fine because the marble guy used a fantastic sealer on it.

the black marble in the water closet however, no good sealer and the droplets from water really show up. plus, it's polished.

If you want the two marble choices, pick a diff shower wall tile.

My tile guy told me that for the shower floor I would be much better off with standard 2" x 2" tiles than a herringbone (I too had been considering it or shower floor).

julieste, it's the grout lines that offer traction. you can go as wide as 4". for a herringbone shower floor, you can have it, but do it w/smaller tiles.

If you do a 2x3 you should be able to do the herringbone pattern

herringbone patterns need tiles that have width, divisible by length, for the pattern to come out correctly.

a 2x6, 2x8, 2x10, 3x9, etc. these tiles (single tiles) could all be laid on the shower floor. It's easier to get the tile on the sheet. Like the one I just posted. I think it's a 1x4 on 12" sheets.

or, go for a hex tile on a sheet. this is perfectly fine for a shower floor. it's matte too.

with OP's choices, I'm not sure these two would match well enough. I'd see if either company makes the larger/or smaller tile to go w/the choice. matching two different choices can be tricky.

I'd also choose Porcelain over ceramic, especially for any flooring. Ceramic tiles are glazed on top. any thing that chips it will allow the white 'body' to be exposed. w/ porcelain tiles the color is usually all the way through. If it's chipped, it won't be as noticeable as a ceramic tile would.

This is a nice wall tile for the shower.

The herringbone one below, not so much. it's ceramic and it prob won't match the wall tile.

See if there is a statuary mosaic tile made in the same porcelain.

or use something like this for the shower wall w/that large porcelain tile

@Beth H. So I can look for herringbone shower door tile that most closer match’s wall. I had thought what I posted was nice because it has hints of Black that would match the rest of the black porcelain floor I want as well as black shower system and black handles etc

My best advice is keep it real. Use real marble not porcelain it is always the best decision it is timeless and floor and decor have great prices. Marble can always be repaired and re-polished Porcelain can not.

I have 3 inch (or maybe 2) black hex in my kids’ shower with white walls (subway) and white 1 inch hex floor. Looks great. Marble bench. Black hex is matte and white hex is polished.

Can you post a pic Noreaster?

Quick snap shot. Can see the marble bench peeking out. Since this is my teens’ bathroom, they only got marble bench and not floors etc.

I have a 3" nero marquina hex shower floor. carrara marble outside the shower. white subway and cement tile in the shower

i also have the nero marquina marble in the water closet on the other end of the room. it's a basketweave. you could also use that for the shower floor.

so for yours, if you want to mix real w/fake, they'd have to be very good match.
