44 degrees & raining in central WI. Dogsitting the grand today; my pup & he are loving it. They're in the yard perfecting the art of racing in the rain.

W,i is cold 47 now and high of 50 It started on Monday. Looks like the remainder of the week will be cold. Better than the high temps we have been having!!

Seasonably cool and wet here. September is usually a mixed bag of weather.

It feels great here in the valley in Virginia. Light cloud cover, temps started in the low 60s should get no higher than high 70's today. Just about perfect! Not unusual for September.

My garden is under blankets in Cache Valley Utah. Was in the 90s a few days ago and this morning it's 32 with a high of 66. It's nice to break out the sweaters for a day but I am not ready for winter to stay.

We were at 100 on Monday. Right now it's 42 and drizzly. I'm so happy I don't have to go anywhere today.

It snowed yesterday and last night/24F. 3"-4". Melted on the driveway and streets. Had been mid 80's. Cloudy and overcast. The radiant heated floors are toasty! It's currently 27F, 9:30am. We have about 6 hummingbirds, most left weeks ago, that were freaking out yesterday. Poor things.

I'm going to bake a chili rellenos casserole. Moni knows best! ☺

Same area as Moni. I'm glad for the relief from the heat! But not ready for the cold to stay put for too long.

We're in SoCal so It's nice to at least read about cold temps. It truly can seem like we're on a different planet.

It's 84 here today. It is chillier in the mornings and evenings than it has been. Feels like Fall and I'm not liking it one bit.

Currently 89 here in the north Houston area. That's almost a cold front! We were supposed to get a little bit of that cold front moving across the country but then the forecast changed and it was going to miss us. Darn it would have been a nice change from the scorching heat.

Was 49 this morning with a light drizzle. The rain that was supposed to happen turned out to be spotty showers. Now 55 but supposed to go up slightly before it starts raining later tonight. It will be hot again in a week or so.

As I always do with the first cool spell of autumn I turned on the furnace for about 5 minutes. It allows some of that funky smell to dissipate from the vents and also allows me to know that it is still working. Will have it checked but if it had made any weird noises it could be checked before the rush.

Still hot and humid in Alabama. It was in the upper 80’s today but it has been cooler in the mornings and evenings. We may have some relief in a few days.

Central Ontario Canada-cold & wet......Its rained here if not every day then every night since the first of July-It was welcome then as it was scorching hot-but throu out August, and now into Sept., its just been wet.

Everything is drenched...all gardens, flowers, hanging pots-everything.

Currently, we're doing good to get into the 50's-not sure when this wet period will lift, if ever.

if this rain is any indication of the winter coming, and I believe it is, then we'll be snowed in until June.

Southern Colorado.....a few days ago it was in the 90's.....snowed yesterday...today is in the 40's....

It is comfortably warm in Maryland, a relief after so many humid 90 degree days this summer. And guess what? It is raining again. We had rain several times a week this summer. At the riverhouse, 4-5 inches at a time. There are lots of streams and low lying areas in southern Maryland which often overflow and flood nearby roads. Weather wise it had been an interesting summer.

We have the under-floor heat on in three north-facing rooms -- adequate for in-between temps. When we chage from cooling to heat we'll have to switch the air returns.

Glad to have our serious drought ended (Sunday), but we probably won't see the sun again until next Monday.

Yes, it's very bad here in So. CA. We just survived a horrible weekend with 111 degree temps. Now air quality is hazardous so we cannot go outside to walk or garden. Sky is grey, sun overcast with smoky conditions. I cannot imagine what it's like for firefighters and hope no one gets hurt or worse. Oregon very bad too. We are so fortunate too, yet I still whine.
