window treatment(s) for a window & slider in the same room

These 2 windows are immediately visible when entering the bedroom. There are actually 2 more windows but not in visible proximity of these 2. I am considering using plantation shutters on the 3 windows, but then I'm stumped with what window treatment to use for the slider. Sorry, pictures are dark, walls are just primed, curtains had to remain for privacy...total overhaul underway. Thanks for the help.

You could do room darkening curtain panels. Pick a color close to the wall color and have them completely open during the day so they blend with the wall.

You could also do pull down blinds with a narrow valance. Again, close to the wall color so the valance would blend during the day.

Are you doing all individual windows with interior mounts in the bedrooms, or thinking of exterior mounted for the windows combined? Wood blinds are very heavy, and will have a huge stack at the top when fully up. Just something to consider. Maybe you're planning to keep them down all the time, but you will lose a lot of light that way. Have you thought about top down bottom up blinds for the bedroom, to keep some light but still have privacy?

The width of the large doors are 141”, the shorter doors are 71” wide. The rolls of fabric to make each panel are super long, the doors are 94” tall. It’s a very sturdy fabric, more like a panel but still translucent. The panels are about 23” each and you can stack as many as 4. Here’s the 3 track from our CA house. IKEA currently sells a curtain track system called Vidga. Ours is called Kvartal, you might find it on EBay. Good luck and aloha!

I have a huge slider in the back of my condo. I have a sheer for privacy, curtains, and valance. I'm very happy with it. JCPenney did the valance and someone else did the curtains. First picture is with the sheers closed and second is with the sheers open.

Since you have the cranks on the windows and need access to them, I wouldn't put anything there. Valances can be old fashioned and your windows are more contemporary. If I didn't need privacy, I would forego window treatments. The views are nice, but if you don't want to see the deck and its furnishings, try an inside mounted semi-sheer cafe curtain on the tall window. That still allows a view of the trees, but will block the deck and railings from sight. Add color to the kitchen with some colorful hand towels, pot holders, crocks/cookie jars/canisters, a kettle or small appliance. If you limit the items to a few decorative accessories, you can change them out when you feel the mood or the seasons change. Pops of orange A bit of lemon Turquoise

deegw....thanks. So far I have side panels in both the approx. wall color and a coordinating color to try. We'll see. Just me, but I'm not sold on a pull down shade on a sliding door. Just seems a bit physically cumbersome....but I appreciate the photo and the idea.

eld6161.........thanks. I too am in Florida. My second shutter vendor was here yesterday to measure and price, etc. The first told me I would find the slider "cumbersome", the second disagreed....and offered a reg. slider or a bi-fold slider. Did you have that option and did you use a bi-fold design anywhere? I do see where it would allow in more light, balance the visual appearance of the door when both open, but I hadn't even been expecting that option and I am typically NOT a bi-fold fan.....thx for any additional info you can share.
