What a wonderful house and so much room! I would do a scale drawing with circles in the large space for where you want the den (view area?) and where you want the LR ( with TV?) I would define those spaces with separate rugs and then put the furniture on the rugs. If you want actual separation you could use an open bookcase between. I would use couch and ottoman,end tables etc in LR and 4 club chairs and coffee table, lights etc. in den. The way the owners have it staged doesn't help.

I searched for "2 seating arrangements". These give you some ideas as to some possible arrangements. Your situation depends on the floor plan, how you live and your style.

In design, you should

First: Search photos for styles you like

Second: create a to-scale floor plan with every measurement, window, etc.

Third: decide how you live and your wants and needs.

Fourth: Add furniture to your floor plan, based upon the above.

These are critical steps prior to thinking of buying any furniture, decor etc.

I would use two sofas facing each other, one with it's back to the kitchen and one with it's back to the bar area. You can see the tv by looking one direction, and the views looking the other way. You can either leave the end of the seating group open to the views, or add a chair or two, or a low bench seat, that doesn't block the view the way that the sofa does. You might possibly have room for a separate grouping of two chairs together near the bar.

Put two chairs by the windows. Do the rest of your furniture like your picture.

Without a floor plan and measurements, how you live, how many will watch tv, etc, I wouldn't suggest any arrangement as of now. I would say for sure you can move the sofa much closer to the tv wall (than the current owners have it).

Idea from @calidesign seems like a great use of the space without over-stuffing the room with furniture. Even though it doesn't give you two distinct seating areas, it would serve three purposes: conversation area, TV viewing, and view viewing. You'd have enough space to get a nice, big coffee table to ground the whole arrangement.
